Thrill seekers have fun options. How about the fantastic Tree Top Flyers Eco Zip line in Chase or have the heart stopping thrill of running the rapids of the Adams river.

Labour Day long weekend offers the IPE (Interior Provincial Exhibition) an easy 45 min drive to Armstrong.

Vernon is 50 min on a scenic and comfortable drive. Stop in at the Historic O'Keefe Ranch on your way. Trail rides are offered here daily.

Wineries are dotted throughout the Shuswap and golf is offered in Chase, Talking Rock, Kamloops and Vernon.

There are too many things to list here but we are happy to help you with your travel plans.

Tilly our donkey loves to have visitors and be brushed, cuddled and fed treats .   Tilly is expecting! Come and see her new baby this spring!  Horizonwest is a working horse breeding farm and you are welcome to participate in the daily routine. Feeding, cleaning stalls, brushing. Depending on the time of your visit you could witness a foal being born! We are expecting one foal in Mid May and another in early June.  Tilly is keeping her due date a secret!                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           Even our chickens are friendly. Collect fresh laid eggs for breakfast. If you visit us later in the summer you could participate in bringing in the hay. Of course you could just sit and watch if that is what suits you.

Halter rides for the kids are always complimentary!
